80% of EHS teams still run their safety programs on paper forms, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools.

Most programs at mature facilities look solid: documented policies, current training, procedures employees know. Yet audit exposure, emergency failures, and repeat incidents still surface.

The reason usually sits in the systems behind the program rather than the policy. When those systems can't enforce standards consistently, outcomes vary by site, by shift, and by whoever is at the desk that day.

Our new guide maps where that variation shows up and what closing each gap takes.

GMP compliance spans more of a facility's operations than most documentation systems are built to handle β€” contractor certifications, visitor logs, emergency drill records, access control, shipment traceability.
When those records live in separate systems, audit readiness becomes an active effort rather than a standing posture. 91% of companies report operational issues from data quality problems. In a GMP environment, that fragmentation has a way of surfacing at the wrong moment.

Centralizing compliance documentation across functions is what closes that gap. Full breakdown here πŸ‘‰https://hubs.li/Q04jXcWM0

These five capabilities tend to be the difference between a visitor program built for compliance and one built for safety.

The FacilityOS Visitor Management 101 Coursebook includes exercises to help you evaluate your current process against each one and identify where the gaps are.

Warehouse and distribution center workers face some of the highest injury rates across all industrial settings. Facilities that have closed that gap tend to have one thing in common: a risk-based framework that focuses effort where it produces the most impact.

Greg Zigulis, CSP, CIH, brings 40 years of occupational safety experience to this OHS Online webinar, covering the leading causes of injury in warehouse and DC environments and practical strategies for hazard identification, ergonomic improvements, and traffic management. He'll also address how facility growth and new technologies are creating emerging risks that older safety programs weren't designed to catch.

FacilityOS is proud to sponsor this free OHS Online webinar.

Most mailroom teams were built to move packages. Increasingly, the work that takes up the most time is proving what happened to them.

New survey data from 150 facility and mailroom operations leaders found that 58% of daily challenges relate to record-keeping, compliance, and tracking, not physical package movement.

We took one finding from that survey and looked at it closely: why documentation has overtaken delivery as the top operational pressure point, where the gaps tend to appear in a typical high-volume day, and what the difference is between logging a package and actually proving what happened to it.

It's all in the post πŸ‘‰ https://hubs.li/Q04gyWvv0

New research from 150 facility and mailroom operations leaders reveals a significant gap in how organizations handle package accountability.

42% say their biggest daily challenge is proving what happened to a package. 74% can't confirm their records are audit-ready. 71% deal with delivery disputes at least once a week.

Package volume is up. Staffing isn't. And when something goes missing, teams are still expected to have answers without the tools to back them up.

It's a gap a lot of mailroom teams are navigating right now, and it's one we spend a lot of time thinking about at FacilityOS.

If you're heading to the 2026 National Postal Forum, we'd love to connect. We'll be there showing how digitizing intake, tracking, and chain of custody can give teams real-time visibility and accountability across every package.

Book time with us if you want to see it firsthand.

Are your mailroom processes suffering unnoticed gaps? Most facility managers don't realize their mailroom processes have costly blind spots until packages go missing or compliance issues hit.

Here's the reality: not every gap costs you the same. The key is knowing where to look first.

The wrong priority wastes months of effort on minimal impact changes.

The right priority can cut your mailroom headaches in half.

Smart mailroom managers audit their processes systematically rather than fixing problems as they pop up.

They identify the highest-impact gaps first and tackle those with proven solutions.
