A client recently came to us with a strange problem.
At first glance, their website looked completely normal. The homepage was loading fine, the design was still there, and nothing obvious looked broken.
But once we looked deeper, we found that many internal pages had been infected with gambling malware.
Google was seeing spam casino content, suspicious links, fake pages, and SEO injections that regular visitors might never notice right away. This is one of the most dangerous types of website attacks because the business owner often thinks everything is fine - until Google Search Console starts sending warnings, rankings drop, or customers start finding strange pages connected to the business.
We cleaned the malware, removed the infected content, blocked the spam URLs, checked for unauthorized admin users, reviewed hidden files, and hardened the website to reduce the chance of the same issue happening again.
This is why “my website looks fine” does not always mean your website is safe.
If you own a WordPress website, I’m offering a free website security audit. I’ll check for obvious signs of malware, SEO spam, suspicious admin users, risky plugins, and hidden issues that could hurt your business online.
No pressure. No scare tactics. Just a real check so you know where your website stands.
