New project launch: Website for ÖÖD.

It was a real pleasure to design the interface for such a visually striking product. But ÖÖD House is more than just a house, it’s an experience and an adventure. Behind the product stands a business that builds long-lasting partnerships and enables others to integrate ÖÖD Houses into their own ventures.

Our role was to capture and express all of this through design. Beyond visuals, we worked closely with the client to translate their brand identity to website design, refine communication, and align the website with broader business goals.

Super big thank you to the client for the trust and being such an amazing team to work with :)

A lot of the conversation around AI today focuses on how to use the tools, what impact they have on our lives, and whether they threaten our jobs. The big questions are usually: How do I use it? How do I cope with it? Will it replace me?

But what’s talked about less is how we actually design for AI. As designers, our role isn’t only about tool usage—it’s about anticipating change and staying one step ahead of the trends.

If you think about it, AI is becoming a new kind of user—a new audience to design for. It’s not fundamentally different from designing for humans, but it comes with its own nuances: content structure, prompt design, and how data is fetched from your product or website so that AI can deliver it directly to potential customers—sometimes without them ever visiting your site.

These are the challenges we’re tackling right now. It’s a new journey for all of us—so let’s explore it together.

GOLD from Kuldmuna creative festival in website category with project made for Silen. This is one the most substantial website project what we have done so far where content, copywriting, 3D animation, branding, UX design, UI design and technical development is done for the aim of creating something special.

Big thanks to the client for the great opportunity and cooperation Silen team Ulvi Vahtra , Mariann Pihlap , Endrus Arge , Martin, Villu etc. And of course Villu Arak (copy), 3D illustrations - Kevin “Mr. seQ” Devroo, Developer Orgo

Jõekääru Linnak is a new real-estate development project in Laagri, south of Tallinn. The development will see the realisation of 26 separate apartment blocks which will be constructed in different phases. The location hits the sweet spot between nature – in close proximity to the Pääsküla river and bog – and quality of life conveniences – schools, supermarkets and public transport.

The branding leans strongly into a natural colour scheme, with graphical elements that tie in with the river and photos that create a sense of cozy belonging. The website takes all these cues and brings it together with all the necessary information for potential home-buyers. Add in micro-animations and clear communication for a great experience.

New Work! Äripäev is an Estonian business-orientated publishing house that's been around since 1989. Main and most trusted business magazine/portal in Estonia.

As with any project, big or small, we started with several face-to-face meetings with the client’s team to better understand their business and technical needs. Then we took time to reach out to current and potential Äripäev content consumers for interviews. By doing this we would get insights into how they use Äripäev in their day-to-day and work towards an experience that better caters to their needs.

A deliberate UX/UI design decision was to not change too much – at least visually – so that existing users wouldn’t all of a sudden get confused and lost. What we did set out to do, however, was to vastly improve the typography and legibility of articles.
Another challenge that we tackled, was to showcase and accommodate Äripäev’s “sibling-websites” in the main menu since this was lacking in the previous version of the website. The same navigation and content UI logic we defined is reused throughout all these websites.

This was made easy by the using of scalable components which – by allowing dynamic changes – give the flexibility and reusability needed for the editors of the respective websites. This way the layout and design system logic enables the editors to focus on the content creation without having to worry about technical hurdles.

Cheers to the client for a great collaboration and getting into the minute details with us!

EDA2024 konkursile esitatud digikategooria tööd üllatasid positiivselt – väga palju oli väga häid projekte. Tavapärase mustri asemel, kus laekunud projektide ülevaatamisel tõuseb kohe pinnale paar tugevamat tegijat, oli sel korral väljakutse juba nominentide listi kokku panemine. Saab ö...

Great cooperation leads to great results. This got again proven this weekend when our website project Silen got the gold award in the website category at the Eesti Disainiauhinnad Estonian Design Awards. With only 5 finalists and only 1 winner the competition was the fiercest yet! It was a big recognition for us and the client for the hard work that went into this. It’s good to see when the client is also “all in” with creating something outstanding.

For this project we basically covered all bases. We thought not only about the business, the visuals and the UX, but about the communication in every angle. A story that makes sense, good copywriting, unique product visuals, good quality motion design and interaction. All this needed to melt into an interface that makes sense and leaves you with a positive emotion.
