Couple of weeks ago we asked the people at Boogie, what small things could improve our sense of community even further. One of the suggestions was having a lunch together on fridays and that idea was put into a practice last week.

Couple of weeks ago Lasse Kukkonen and Tomi Viitala gave us plenty of insights on how we can build an even stronger Boogie together. One thing we learned was that we embrace our individual differences and that’s what makes us a good team.

Last Thursday we took some time to improve something that isn’t broken. That’s often when the best ideas emerge.

Overall, the day was extremely valuable for all of us. and gave us plenty of insights, practical perspectives and a lot of things to think about around community, collaboration and how we can continue building an even stronger Boogie together.

The small group discussions in the afternoon were a highlight. It was great to see how many ideas, observations and suggestions we got! We gathered a lot of concrete thoughts on how we can improve collaboration, information sharing and our sense of community even further.

Most importantly, the day reinforced something we already knew: we have a great team and a strong foundation to build on. When nothing is broken, it’s much easier to focus on becoming even better. 💙

Let's continue with Boogie's "friend book". This time, it's Mika's turn to be introduced!

Mika has been programming in a wide variety of projects for over a decade, working on everything from mobile applications to server-side development.

Outside of coding, he's a big fan of winter and off-piste skiing, as well as playing and writing music.

He also runs his own YouTube channel, .ulkoilee which focuses mainly on MTB content. So yes, you could say he's quite passionate about biking and video production too.

Timo has been part of Boogie for three years and has over ten years of experience in designing and developing software for servers, mobile devices, and embedded systems.

Outside of work, Timo enjoys staying active through running and cycling, coaching junior football, spending time with his family, and exploring the outdoors.

Kristian recently returned to Boogie after a four-year side tour and now works as an AI Solutions Architect.

When it comes to technology, Kristian believes the best programming language is the one that fits the problem at hand.

Outside of work, he enjoys building things from wood and electronics, playing games, and making music.
