🎯 We're less than 24hrs away from this years Charity Darts Marathon and this year we've been raising funds for Brain Tumour Research.

💛 While we know the event will be full of laughs the funds we raise are vital for Brain Tumour Research. Here's a little bit about them: Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

💽 Backups, it might not sound exciting, but a solid backup plan is one of the best treats you can give your business. When data disappears, whether it’s through a cyberattack, hardware failure, or someone hitting delete by mistake, backups are the safety net that saves the day.

Here are some tips you can follow now:

1️⃣ Follow the 3-2-1 rule: 3 copies of your data, on 2 different types of storage, with 1 kept safely off-site.
2️⃣ Test your restores: a backup is only useful if it works when you need it.
3️⃣ Schedule automatic backups: set it and forget it, so you’re always protected.

Think of it like keeping a spare key; you hope you never need it, but you’ll be very glad it’s there if you do.

🖱️ Don’t click on links in spam emails. Not even on “unsubscribe”, because it often makes the problem worse.

📩 Scammers send millions of emails blindly, not knowing which addresses are real. When you click a link in the email they sent (the unsubscribe link included), you send a signal back that says: "This email address is active, and a human is reading it."

⭐ Instead of unsubscribing you from their list, they move your address from their "Maybe" list to their "Premium Target" list.

💰 Your email ends up being sold to other scammers and receiving ten times more junk.

If you signed up for a retailer’s newsletter, unsubscribing is fine. But if it’s random spam you never asked for, do not click the link.

Mark it as "Junk" and let your filter handle the rest.
