The bear is back! BEARTOWN are keen to embrace their heritage with this mashup of old and new and a return to the original hand-drawn illustration which I created in 2015 alongside the new bear icon of 2024.
As the bottle states ‘One generations tradition is another’s revolution’.

Bosley Cloud, overlooking Congleton, home of the Congleton Jazz & Blues Festival is the landmark chosen for this years poster artwork. A bespoke digital illustration of this popular, cherished promontory on the Cheshire Staffordshire border with 360 views of the Cheshire plain and the western edge of the Peak District. Visible sights from the 343m summit include Jodrell Bank, Congleton Viaduct, Mow Cop, The Roaches, Manchester and Beeston Castle, and on a clear day, Liverpool Cathedral and the Welsh mountains.
Only 50 numbered prints will be available from Congleton Info Centre at the Town Hall…

Every great brand starts with a great story… and this one had roots that ran deep. 🌿🍻
When we created the identity for The Wild Alderman we didn’t just design a logo for a pub—we uncovered the remarkable story of Fletcher Moss, one of Didsbury’s most fascinating characters.

An alderman, philanthropist, historian, nature lover and all-round local legend, Fletcher Moss dedicated much of his life to preserving green spaces and sharing them with the community. His greatest gift was the beautiful botanical gardens that still bear his name today, a tranquil haven that he donated to the people of Manchester over a century ago.

That spirit of curiosity, generosity and a little bit of wildness became the heart of the brand.

The result? A brand thats rooted in place. A neighbourhood pub with a story to tell, where every pint comes with a little piece of local history.

It was an absolute honour even to be asked to work on this project, let alone to have the freedom and the time to give it my all. This traditional, historic coaching inn deserved a traditional, handcrafted design. From pencil to pixels, I drew on The Bell’s rich heritage, wayfaring history and timeless hospitality to create a classic logo mark to span the ages from the inn’s conception to its rebirth. This historic coaching inn in Congleton has been reborn, stripped back to bare brick, giving this imposing building back its identity, dignity and prominence in the town and to once again welcome guests for years to come.
I’m so grateful to the team at The Bell for trusting me with a small piece of their story, I wish you all the very best and may you welcome guests for years to come…🔔🍺🐻
