Every great brand starts with a great story… and this one had roots that ran deep. 🌿🍻
When we created the identity for The Wild Alderman we didn’t just design a logo for a pub—we uncovered the remarkable story of Fletcher Moss, one of Didsbury’s most fascinating characters.
An alderman, philanthropist, historian, nature lover and all-round local legend, Fletcher Moss dedicated much of his life to preserving green spaces and sharing them with the community. His greatest gift was the beautiful botanical gardens that still bear his name today, a tranquil haven that he donated to the people of Manchester over a century ago.
That spirit of curiosity, generosity and a little bit of wildness became the heart of the brand.
The result? A brand thats rooted in place. A neighbourhood pub with a story to tell, where every pint comes with a little piece of local history.
