We just launched a new website for Frodi the Moneyer.

Frodi brings medieval coin striking to life at castles, museums, and heritage sites across the UK - live demonstrations, "have a go" workshops, and hand-struck reproduction coins 😎

He came to us with a one-page site and asked us to take a look. Less than a day later, he had a brand new website. Clean, fast, static HTML and CSS. No bloat, no CMS, no unnecessary complexity, and no eye-watering price tag to go with it.

Not every project needs to be a six-week build. Sometimes the best thing we can do is move quickly, keep it simple, and just get it done...

20 years of Dzines. Still here. Still loving it.

In 2006, I registered the Dzines domain. I was working in sales management by day and building websites on the side in the evenings. It was very much a hobby.

A lot has happened since then. A few false starts, a lot of learning, and some brilliant people along the way, including Helen, who now runs the business alongside me.

Today we work with some amazing businesses right across Kent and beyond, we’re genuinely proud of what we’re delivering for our clients every day.

WordPress is the most hacked CMS on the internet.

Plugins with vulnerabilities. Outdated themes. Brute force attacks on login pages.

If you run a WordPress site, you've probably had the emails. "Your site may be compromised." "Malware detected." Or worse, you find out from a client.

The problem isn't WordPress itself. It's how many ways in there are.

Every plugin is a potential entry point. Every database query is an opportunity for injection. Every login page is a target.

JAMstack websites work differently.

There's no database to attack. No admin login page to hammer. No server-side code running on request. The site is pre-built and served as static files from a CDN.

If someone tries to hack it, there's nothing to get into.

You get a faster, more modern website in the process. You still get great SEO. You still get a CMS if you need one (headless, kept separate from the public site).

You just don't carry the same security risk.

If your WordPress site keeps needing maintenance, patches and security monitoring, it might be worth asking whether the platform is right for your business at all.
