Hi Folks, if your system runs an AMD CPU with an integrated Radeon graphics card, or you have a dedicated Radeon GPU, there is a bug in the latest Radeon driver ( 26.6.2 ).

The bug "can" cause the system to loose the graphics card, you may get an error along the lines of "can't find a GPU" etc.

Hold off updating this driver until there's a fix, or if you already done it and you're having issues reinstall the previous driver to fix it ( 26.6.1 )๐Ÿ‘

Watch out for electronics overheating...

If your PC or laptop is getting hot and behaving strangely, it might need servicing.

Running slow, crashing, image distortion, turning itself off are all warning signs.

Just leaving it can result in a dead machine and an expensive bill for a replacement / or repair.

Electronics work best when running cool, but it's difficult when outside air temperatures are also hot. Don't leave them running for long periods of time.

As the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure (and it's a lot cheaper too) ๐Ÿ˜‰. Book your computer in for a service.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend. Just a quick reminder about overheating computers, especially during this heatwave. Computers like to run cool, if they start to overheat it can affect performance an, in some cases, can cause permanent damage to your hardware, which can be costly.

It's always best to err on the side of caution. If you think your laptop or PC is overheating, switch it off and get it checked or serviced. Thanks. Pete
