Flashback to the beginning of July… when the sun didn’t stop shining and we got to host one seriously stunning garden party 🌿☀️

We were asked to help our client Rathbones organise their Southern client garden party, and the venue choice was easy: Painshill Estate in Surrey. Beyond its 18th-century landscaped gardens, lake and follies, keen-eyed guests may have recognised it as a filming location for Netflix’s Bridgerton - those famous promenade and picnic scenes! 🎬

We welcomed 300 guests into a beautiful marquee, where they enjoyed afternoon tea, English sparkling wine and canapés, along with tours around the grounds - the perfect way to spend a hot summer’s day 🥂

Huge thanks to our brilliant suppliers who helped bring it all together: Perfect Pitch Marquees Limited, Vanilla Bean Catering, Hayley Bray Photography & Painshill Estate.

🐾 Earlier this month, we were involved in two very special events at Orchard Square in Sheffield to raise funds and awareness for two incredible charities: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary and Support Dogs 💛

Thornberry have been rescuing and rehoming animals across South Yorkshire since 1988, giving dogs, cats, rabbits and more a second chance at a loving home. Support Dogs train life-changing assistance dogs for children with autism, adults with epilepsy, and people with physical disabilities – proving just how much a dog can transform a life 🐕

We loved being part of something that brought the community together for such good causes 🥰 Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, donated, and showed their support.

Weekend “days off” still count as venue scouting in our book 👀

Popped into London Hilton on Park Lane on Saturday for a look around one of Mayfair’s most iconic addresses - and it did not disappoint.

The hotel completed a major multimillion-pound refurbishment in 2023, marking its 60th anniversary and the first refresh of the Grand Ballroom since the hotel opened in 1963. The result is a stunning space that ranks among one of the largest ballrooms in London - think gala dinners, awards ceremonies and large-scale conferences with serious wow factor.

And the surprises don’t stop on the ground floor…

Head up to the 28th floor and you’ll find Shanghai Me 🥢 - a striking Art Deco restaurant with sweeping views over Hyde Park and the London skyline. The perfect spot for an evening reception or VIP dinner with a view to remember.

When a client needs a venue for a large team conference that also makes life easy for international delegates, this one’s a go-to.

Connected directly to Paddington Station by footbridge, and just 15 minutes from Heathrow via the Heathrow Express, this is one of the best-connected conference hotels in London. With over 400 bedrooms, the whole conference can stay under one roof.

🎾 A day off, but never fully off duty…

While enjoying the first day of play at Wimbledon, I couldn’t resist popping into the Royal Garden Hotel on Kensington High Street to take a look at the facilities 👀

Having closed its doors completely in 2020, the hotel underwent a full refurbishment across all 396 rooms and suites, completing the transformation in 2024. The result is a beautifully refreshed space that still feels like a tranquil retreat, just steps back from the buzz of the high street.

There’s something lovely about stepping off a busy London street straight into that calm – exactly the kind of contrast that makes for a memorable event backdrop too.

On Saturday we hosted one of six Makers Markets we’re running throughout 2026 at Orchard Square. The sun was out, the square was packed, and 22 local makers brought their incredible creations to the heart of Sheffield 🛍️

There’s something special about bringing the community together like this - supporting local talent and creating a brilliant atmosphere in the process.💙

Over the weekend, I popped in to The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, to check out the brand new Masters Suite and bedrooms ahead of their official debut.

The space is seriously impressive - 852 sqm, accommodating up to 920 guests, with floor-to-ceiling views over the legendary Brabazon golf course (home of the British Masters and a four-time Ryder Cup host 🏆). It’s all set within its own self-contained building, the new Brabazon House wing, alongside 149 stylish bedrooms - accommodation and event space under one roof.

Beautiful surroundings, free car parking, and a serious step up for large-scale conferences and corporate celebrations.
