Impossible Engineering

Well, this is a big one: the bespoke kinetic and interactive installations we designed for a tech Experience Center have received the SEGD Merit Award in Digital Experiences.

Across four installations, we set out to turn complex stories and data into something physical, intuitive and memorable, using movement, interaction and media not simply to impress, but to communicate.

Seeing that approach recognised by the SEGD community means a lot to us, particularly for a project that brings together so many of the things we care about at Leva: creative engineering, spatial storytelling and purposeful technology.

And yes, we might just print the juror’s quotes and hang them in the office.

The official video of the Leva Grid opening is here – and one week later, we’re still riding the high of this event.

Quite the way to kick off the next decade of impossible engineering, in a month when Turin's buzzing with so many amazing events, ideas and people.

The opening night was only a first glimpse of what’s to come, so stay tuned.

And if you have an idea you’d like to explore together, get in touch.
We’d love to hear it. 🦾

A decade in the making, but well worth the wait: Leva Grid is finally a reality, no longer a seemingly impossible dream.

Thanks to everyone who made this launch special: friends, partners, clients, speakers, neighbors, colleagues and family.

The next decade of impossible engineering begins here. Now. With you.

Here’s to many more celebrations!

The full Leva Grid Opening agenda is here.

On October 15, we’re opening the doors for an evening of ideas, installations, drinks, music and a closer look at our new home - come in early if you want to grab a seat!

After an introduction from Leva’s CEO & Co-Founder, we’ll bring together 3 perspectives on spatial storytelling and experiential design.

Joining (and sparking) the conversation: Sabrina Verhage, Technology Director at Tellart, whose work spans creative technology and large-scale interactive experiences including World Expo pavilions; Marc Tamschick, Founder, CEO & Creative Lead of TMS, a pioneer in media scenography and immersive spatial experiences; and our own Gabriele Gambotto, CTO & Co-Founder of Leva.

Afterwards we switch gears with Luce Clandestina — Turin-based DJ and sonic explorer, Bunker resident and a familiar name across many festivals. Expect something suitably hypnotic to take us into the night.

More tickets have just been added on Eventbrite.
See you there!

What does it take to turn an idea into a perfectly tuned experience?

A lot of engineering, experimentation and problem solving. And, of course, some of the most brilliant minds you’ll ever meet.

We’re looking for a Senior Mechatronic Engineer to join Leva and help us create the next generation of kinetic experiences: ambitious installations where mechanics, electronics, concepts and design all have to work as one.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys complex problems, technical challenges and the freedom to explore solutions that don’t come ready-made.

If you’re looking for your next challenge, make it an extraordinary one.

The wait is over! On October 15, we’re opening the doors to Leva Grid, to celebrate our new headquarters in Turin: nearly 1,000 ㎡ of mechatronics, creative technology, prototyping and production – all under one roof.

Register at the link in bio & keep reading for more details!

We’re expecting a star-studded panel, featuring:

→ Marc Tamschick, CEO & Creative Director of TMS Media + Space
→ Sabrina Verhage, Technology Director at Tellart
→ our very own Gabrielle Gambotto, CTO & Co-Founder of Leva

With more info on the full agenda coming soon!

Join us for an evening of talks, music, drinks and friends. And, of course, custom mechatronics and prototypes.

Watch this space for more announcements!
