OSI Model (Open Systems Interconnection) – Simple Sinhala Explain
OSI කියන්නේ network communication model එකක්.
Devices (computer, phone) එකිනෙකාට data share කරන process එක layers 7කට වෙන් කරලා explain කරන model එකක්.
Layers 7 (පහළින් ඉහළට)
Physical Layer (භෞතික ස්ථරය)
👉 Cable, signals, hardware
📌 Data = electric signals ලෙස යනවා
Data Link Layer
👉 Same network එකේ devices අතර connection
📌 MAC address use කරනවා
Network Layer
👉 Different networks අතර data send කරනවා
📌 IP address use කරනවා (router work එක)
Transport Layer
👉 Data correctly & completely යවනවා
📌 TCP / UDP protocols
Session Layer
👉 Connection (session) start, maintain, end කරනවා
Presentation Layer
👉 Data format change කරනවා (encryption, compression)
Application Layer
👉 Userට closest layer එක
📌 Browser, email, apps
