Want to avoid the number one mistake people make when ordering print online? Let’s talk about BLEED.
When print shops cut your flyers or business cards down to size, the industrial blades can shift by a fraction of a millimeter. If your design stops exactly at the edge, you might end up with an awkward thin white line!
Here is how to secure a perfect print on Printfly every time:
1. Add a 3mm 'Bleed' to the outer edge of your canvas.
2. Extend your background colors or images all the way into this bleed zone.
3. Keep all critical text and logos at least 5mm INSIDE the cutting line (the safe zone).
Export your final file as a high-resolution "Press Quality PDF" with CMYK color settings.
