We're so happy to share that the first house we've ever built in Iași - together with our partner Homes of Hope Cluj-Napoca - is finished and has already been handed over to its new family. 🏡

It all started months ago, far from any construction site: 76 colleagues from Iași and Cluj walked over 26 million steps together during our Steps for Hope challenge. Step by step, that effort turned into the money needed to make this house possible.

On Saturday, August 22nd, a group of us headed to Rediu Aldei, near Iași, and spent the day assembling and raising the walls of the house, side by side with the Homes of Hope team. No construction experience needed, just good energy and a willingness to help.

"What truly defines us is how our colleagues choose to show up for the community, not just by supporting a cause from a distance, but by actively becoming part of it. This house is a good example of that: our community played a real part in making it happen. Being there, working together and seeing their contribution take shape made the impact feel real, and showed the kind of difference we can make when we're moving toward the same purpose", said Alina Iacob, Managing Director at Yonder.

Thank you to everyone who walked, who volunteered, who packed a gift box, or simply cheered us on. This home is proof of what we can build when we do it together. 🤍

For the second year in a row, Yonder returned as sponsor and AI partner for The Leadership School, a 7-day experiential leadership program by Fundația Leaders.

We kicked off the AI day with a crash course built around how we actually use AI in our day-to-day work. Then, participants had 24 hours to help Nutts & Eggs, a family-run bakery in Sibiu, extend its kids' cooking workshops beyond the workshop itself.

We stayed close as mentors and guides throughout the challenge, stepping in when needed, but mostly giving them the space to figure out how far they could get with AI on their side.

After A LOT OF prompts, ups and downs, and... pastries 😊, they delivered two things the owner can actually use:

🏠 Nutts&Eggs Home: a digital space where families can continue the experience at home through recipes, memories, community and an AI cooking companion. The app was tested with real users on the spot. While the kids were making muffins, their parents were already discovering what had been built for them that very day.

📱 An AI-assisted content flow that turns a workshop into ready-to-post social media content in under 15 minutes.

24 hours earlier, there was a brief. By the end of the day, there were real tools, real users and a lot of lessons in between.

A health(y) partnership: our journey with Departamentul de Sănătate Publică - UBB continues.

In January 2025, we supported the modernization of the Hans Rosling Room at the Department of Public Health, Babeș-Bolyai University, now a space dedicated to training the next generation of health policy experts.

Later that year, we backed the very first edition of the Community Health Promotion Gala, an initiative that brought together people and projects making a real difference in communities across Romania.

This year, for the 2nd edition of the Gala, we're glad to support a new track dedicated to digital health. We can't wait to read the applications, discover new ideas, and celebrate the people and organizations pushing health forward.

There's a lot more planned together under the Health Policy Lab initiative. Stay tuned as things move forward.

📅 Evenimentul va avea loc în data de 16 octombrie și este organizat de Departamentul de Sănătate Publică, în colaborare cu compania de consultanță și dezvoltare software Yonder, sub umbrela inițiativei Health Policy Lab.

𝐘𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐱 𝐒𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 🤝

For the past few years, together with Homes of Hope Cluj-Napoca Association, we've been helping families in need have a place they can call home 🏡

One house was already part of this year's plan, funded through our Steps for Hope initiative. Then we started talking about this project with our colleagues at SOBIS. As the two Romanian companies in the Total Specific Solutions Group, doing good together felt like the natural next step.

So we decided to build one more 😊
Together, we co-funded this new home in Ighiș (Mediaș) and spent a day on site helping bring it to life.

Today, the keys are in the hands of the Pintea family. For Andrei, Roxana and their four children, this means something simple, yet life-changing: a safe home where they no longer have to worry about rain coming through the roof or cold nights.

One house is now home. Another one will soon be in Iași.

Thank you to everyone from Yonder, Sobis and Homes of Hope who picked up a hammer, carried materials and chose to spend their Saturday building a better future.

Yesterday marked our 10th cybersecurity session at Casa Filip, a shelter for people fighting cancer away from their homes.

It's hard to put into words what happens in that room. Despite everything they're going through, people still find the strength to ask questions, laugh, share stories and stay curious. You leave inspired by their resilience and warmth.

At the same time, these conversations matter. When you're focused on treatment and everything that comes with it, online scams and cyber threats are probably the last thing on your mind. Unfortunately, that's exactly what attackers count on.

Month after month, our Security team helps people recognize online risks and protect themselves. Thank you for your dedication, kindness and willingness to make a difference. We're grateful to have you 🥰

Big wins deserve a big shoutout! Team MechaByte, the robotics team of Paradis International College in Iași, delivered a remarkable performance at the FTC European Premier Event, standing out on both the engineering and competition stages.

🏆 Innovate Award – 2nd Place. Recognized for engineering excellence, creativity, and technological vision.

🤖 European Vice-Champions. After facing some of the best robotics teams in the world, MechaByte reached an all-Romanian Grand Final and finished the competition as European runners-up alongside CyLiis.

Congratulations, MechaByte! We're proud to have been part of your journey and can't wait to see what you build next.

Doing good is important. Doing it together is even better.

Cooking for Charity is one of those initiatives we simply can't get enough of. It's probably why we've kept it going for 11 years.

It starts in the kitchen, with colleagues volunteering their time to cook for the others. It continues with donations, conversations and a shared decision about where the funds should go. Some colleagues propose causes close to their hearts, others cast their votes, but everyone plays a part in the outcome.

This year, we introduced a new category dedicated to causes where colleagues volunteer actively. We wanted to recognize not only the organizations we believe in, but also the people who invest their time, energy and skills to support them.

Together, we raised €1,800 during this edition. Yonder tripled the amount, bringing the total donation to more than €5,400. Following the voting process, this money will support two meaningful causes:

👧 Providing essential supplies and
comfort for children spending long periods in hospital.
🐕 Training future guide dogs that offer independence, confidence and freedom to people with visual impairments.

Thank you to everyone who cooked, donated, proposed a cause and cast a vote. We are glad we turned a shared meal into something much bigger.
