"AI software is only as capable as the hardware running it.

I’ve been building and engineering computers since 1993—over 30 years of hands-on hardware experience. Back in the early 2000s, I assembled desktops for Micro Center at a pace of 4 to 8 custom rigs a day, backed by a background in electrical engineering.

Today, local AI models and intense compute workloads demand that same precision: dedicated thermal management, clean power delivery, and hardware designed specifically for the developer’s workflow.

For the developers running local models: what hardware bottleneck is slowing your builds down right now? Let’s talk specs in the comments."
