!! World Championships Opening Ceremony Party !!
We will be hosting a watch party for the World Championships Opening Ceremony starting 11:30am and going ALL DAY this Friday, August 28th.

We’ll be streaming on the big TV upstairs. As always, hanging out, casual play, and trading amongst yourselves is free.

I would also like to run a friendly tournament or two, and possibly a Mayhem Build-and-Battle tournament ($25) with the same rules as before. Really though, it’s up to you all what we do, so let us know if you have any suggestions!

Bring Food! Bring Friends! It’s a party!
(Yes, this counts as attending a Session and you will get stamps for showing up!)

Unfortunately, we received an email from Wizards of the Coast yesterday, and after following up with our distributors we can confirm this is true.

"Recently we informed you that some or all of your expected Magic: The Gathering® | The Hobbit™ Play Boosters are delayed in reaching your distributor. These Play Boosters are estimated to complete fulfillment by early September. We understand what this delay means for your store, and we are working to fulfill remaining allocated Play Boosters to our distribution partners as quickly as possible.

Your distributor will provide updates on exact delivery timing when we complete delivery to them. If you have Prerelease or other Play Booster prize support to award to players, we recommend documenting this for your staff to provide when they are available. "

While we want to believe that WOTC will get this product in our hands sooner, the trend hasn't been promising that they can even get this deadline met.

We are only sharing this to be as open about the process on our end as possible. We have built our store on trust and honesty with our community and feel that you all know we will continue to fight to get your product in asap.

What a weekend! Hobbit Prerelease in the books and on to release week. Congratulations to our winners Justin Adams on the Friday night event, and David Ray and Lucas Weeks for snagging a hard fought Two-headed Giant Saturday event!

Lets take a moment to talk about The Hobbit prerelease this weekend.

Its gonna be busy. Please make sure you have the Companion app downloaded and ready to go to make things easier for our staff! Wizards of the Coast has done a good job with design of this set, but a poor job executing its events (so far). Although we have a record number of kits available, please make sure your here early to get your spot.

Fridays event starts at 6:00 pm and Saturdays Two-headed giant begins at 2:00 pm.

PLAY BOOSTER BOXES HAVE NOT YET BEEN DELIVERED TO OUR DISTRIBUTORS. Therefore, we also don't have our play boosters also. We were able to get enough for some prize support, but we will be asking some of our regulars to take an IOU on prize packs, which shouldn't be an issue next week once boosters come in.

We appreciate your patience while we navigate the waters of the Enchanted River together! We look forward to seeing you here!
