Can a business rank on Google but remain invisible to ChatGPT and other AI platforms? Yes.

Lucie Content’s AI visibility research found that 26.7% of businesses highly prepared for traditional search were still completely invisible to AI. SEO helps businesses rank in search results, but generative engine optimization helps AI engines discover, understand and recommend them.

A strong Google presence does not automatically mean your business will appear when someone asks ChatGPT, Google Gemini or another AI platform for a recommendation.

Being search-ready is no longer the whole game. Businesses now need both SEO and AI visibility.

These Atlanta dental practices are already winning the AI visibility game. 🦷

In our Atlanta AI visibility study, Atlanta Dental Spa appeared in 100% of nine AI queries conducted across three independent sessions. It was named nine times and even reached the No. 1 position in AI-generated recommendations.

Midtown Dental Center appeared in 56% of the queries and consistently reached the top three.
