We are looking for a skilled and motivated Online Bidder Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on securing projects through platforms like Upwork, Bark, and Freelancer. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, writing proposals, and bidding on relevant projects to generate business. The ideal candidate should have experience with online bidding platforms and be able to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Opportunities: Search for and identify potential clients and projects on Upwork, Freelancer, and similar platforms.
- Write Winning Proposals: Craft customized proposals tailored to each client’s project needs, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
- Bid on Projects: Actively bid on projects, monitor bid status, and follow up with potential clients to secure projects.
- Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to understand their requirements and negotiate terms.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly bidding targets by acquiring new projects and generating revenue.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends to identify emerging opportunities and adjust bidding strategy accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the business development team to align bidding strategy with overall company goals.
- Maintain Profiles: Regularly update and maintain profiles on Upwork, Bark, and Freelancer to enhance visibility and attract more clients.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on bidding performance, project pipeline, and conversion rates to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in online bidding, client acquisition, or freelancing on platforms like Upwork, Bark, or Freelancer.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to negotiate and close deals with clients, with a strong focus on meeting sales goals.
- Proposal Writing Skills: Proficiency in crafting personalized and convincing proposals.
- Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Upwork, Freelancer, and other bidding platforms.
