Georgia Tech’s SPINgineers are doing amazing things all summer long, and we wanted to show off our talented team members. Meet Nafisa, she is a 4th year Biology major volunteering with Breast Imaging and Gynecology at Emory Winship Cancer Institute. She works with patients in different stages of their cancer journey to help them feel comfortable during their appointments and help the clinical staff educate patients on next steps. We’re so lucky to have such an awesome soul and spinner like Nafisa on our team, and we’re counting down the days until we see each other again!

Today we at the GTCG and White and Gold Winterguard are honoring Juneteenth. Every June 19th we celebrate the emancipation of people from slavery in the United States. As we celebrate this day, we’re also recognizing African American culture and influence throughout our nations history and our future. We are always so proud of our members for showcasing black excellence each and every day!

Georgia Tech’s SPINgineers are doing amazing things all summer long, and we wanted to show off our talented team members. Meet Zeina, she is a 3rd year Aerospace Engineering major interning at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. She is making mission control dashboards for Europa Clipper, a mission heading to one of Jupiter’s Moons. Additionally, she is one of our new captains for this season. We’re so thankful for everything Zeina does for us, and we cannot wait for this season to get started!

So many of our team members are doing amazing things over the break, and we want to show off how bright and talented they are. Meet Ellie, she is a 4th year discrete math major interning at Horizons GT in Atlanta. She’s helping to teach rising 9th graders various STEM skills. We are so grateful she is apart of our team and that she’s out there doing amazing things!
