JUST A GIRL WHO DECIDED TO GO FOR IT!
As part of the Nerve, Go and 24K DJ coalitions, Sunflower has been on the scene in the Atlanta based area for the last couple of years. Her love for music began after watching pioneer DJ Spinderella on Yo! MTV Raps. Being heavily influenced by hip-hop culture throughout her childhood, Sunflower began her steady progression to building her empire beat by beat. From being in the band throughout school to cultivate her musical knowledge, to making mini mixes with cassettes tapes and boom boxes, Sunflower continues to be a force in the mixtape industry today. As the former editor of Straight Official Magazine for Fleet DJs, Host of Texas 101 Jams Radio in Houston, NuRadio and BRMB Radio in Atlanta, Sunflower has been bringing her own flair and style to us since 2011 when she began doing Artist showcases. Also, to being a tireless promoter and meticulous organizer, Sunflower is the published author of, ‘Beat Face’ on Amazon, ‘Best Frans,’ ‘When Karma and Loyalty Collide,” several short stories, and her newest book ‘Slugga.’ From her beginnings as a DJ in Adult Entertainment Clubs in the Houston area, to the Grand Opening of Blue Magic Gentlemen’s Club in Jackson, MS., Sunflower has gone on to do musical scoring for short films, produced the film "The Booth" with Chasing My Dreamz Productions, and executive produces the show "I'm From Atlanta Where" on YouTube.
