Dear Clients:
If you came/are coming into the Atlantic shop today, yes; that is me in the back trying to hack up a hairball. No, I won't be stepping out front and bringing my germs with me. No, Typhoid Marvin out there isn't a threat to you - he already passed the Crud on to me after toying with it delicately for about three days. You know, polite coughs, feeling tired and grouchy. Then he gave it to me and it is kicking my butt. Hopefully, by Monday I'll be back to normal, but for now, just know I don't have Tuberculosis or Covid; I have the Crud and I'll keep myself hidden. :-) Have a great Easter weekend!

Okay, so, here's the deal. Locals and clients, you may have seen our sign in the showroom about our cat. For those who haven't, the cat will stand upstairs in the apartment, press his face against the door and yell at the top of his lungs. He wants out, and really thinks he has a shot at it if he can just make someone hear him.
Now - he has discovered that the one, single window in the entire apartment is open, and also that he can sit comfortably in the window seat. So he is expressing himself out the window. Loudly. Repeatedly. For HOURS.
He is FINE. He really is. He isn't hurt, hungry, in danger or trapped - except by his own definition. What he IS, is bored. He has two other cats for company, but they don't love on him and that's what he wants. But hopefully, he will eventually notice that nobody comes in through the window and give up on it as an egress point.

Come by the first week of April (3/30 - 4/3) and tell us how many Easter eggs we've hidden in the window - it'll be a different number every day after 9:00 AM - and don't forget to make sure Milo the cat isn't hiding any! Get the right number, and you get to visit this guy for a treat!

And while we have your attention: Randy has gotten three calls so far this morning claiming to be from "Brian at Novaland" and talking about a loan preapproval we never asked for. It's very convincing; he even has to dig through papers on his desk to find the loan application number. The problem is, every one of the now FOUR calls have come from a different number and the recording is identical.
Five.
Don't call "Brian" if you get the recording! It's the same kind of scam as the Microsoft one. Just delete the voicemail and clench your teeth.
