Civitech is partnering with Guerrilla Press to launch the Civitech Studio in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood: a state-of-the-art 2,400+ sq. ft. space built to produce daily podcasts, political comedy, and civic content for young progressives.

Co-founded by staples of the Chicago comedy scene, EJ Cameron and Nick Hausman, Guerrilla Press has already been making waves since January 2026. With notable guests from across the Democratic sphere and 1M+ impressions, Guerrilla Press is growing into a hub for progressive media.

As you know, we believe democracy works better when people are informed, engaged, and represented. Supporting media that reaches the next generation of voters is central to our mission.

Finding unregistered voters is the first and most essential step in voter registration outreach.

With increased civic participation being a central goal of our organization, Civitech partnered with Analyst Institute to meta-analyze the results of our 2024 randomized controlled trials and examine what makes our model most effective in practice.

They found that:
1. Civitech’s direct mail voter registration efforts reached unregistered voters who represented key parts of the Democratic coalition in 2024, including younger voters, women, and voters of color.

2. Civitech was efficient in reaching individuals who have recently changed addresses (movers). This was the largest group of voters.

3. Civitech’s data-sourcing approach likely reached many voters missing from standard lists.

4. College students were the smallest group but represent the largest pool of potential new registrants.
