On June 19, 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas and finally enforced the end of slavery, a full two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation had already been signed. Our ancestors were always meant to be free. They just had to wait for the world to catch up.

That resilience? That strength? It lives in us still.
It lives in me every time I sit down to build a brand, design a logo, or help a Black entrepreneur show up and stand out. Top Notch Business Branding LLC exists because of the freedom our ancestors fought for. I do not take that lightly.
