I am offering senior portrait photography for $350 for a 1.5 hour session including full rights to the digital files--no need to choose your favorites, and you don't have to go through me to order prints unless you want to.
OR: a friendship special: $400 for 2 friends for 2 hours: you'll make each other smile, which will make the experience more comfortable and fun, and you'll both end up with great photos in less time than two full sessions!
My style is on the natural side, with no AI! I can do retouching if you want it, but I think humans are beautiful just as they are!

I was honored to be asked to help the Belfast Free Library with their outreach about this summer's events leading up to a rare copy of the declaration of independence coming to Belfast, but was at first worried the events might not strike a great chord given the state of America these days. To my great relief, our friendly neighborhood librarians were on the same page, and had already booked Firefly the Hybrid of the Penobscot Indian Nation as a centerpiece musical performance, and agreed that a focus on the revolutionary words of the declaration were a good approach, rather than overly patriotic imagery. I'm happy with how it came out, and excited for the big event tomorrow.

Our beloved children's librarian, Stephanie Holman, has been planning this event since February, with music and dancing, historical snacks and switchel, ships and drama! Come on out to Steamboat Landing Wednesday 10-1 and join us!

After 3 years in business, I'm finally feeling clear enough about what it is I do to offer some standard prices for my most common services. I'm still happy to work things out on a case-by-case basis as needed (BARTERS WELCOME!), but I hope this will help folks get a sense of what I offer and what it might cost.

Simple Portrait
A 1.5 hour session for one or two people, and high resolution digital copies of the best resulting photos. Perfect for senior portraits, engagement sessions, professional head shots, parent and child, or person and pet photos. I will edit the images to adjust lighting and do some minimal retouching. For more detailed retouching, choose the complex portrait. The number of images will depend on how many come out well. The goal is to create one quality portrait, but I always deliver more options when possible. See below for examples.

Complex Portrait
A 1.5 hour session for a larger group, or for an individual who wants more detailed retouching, and high resolution digital copies of the finished photo(s). A note on retouching: I think you’re more beautiful with your imperfections, so I don’t advise a lot of heavy “photoshopping”, but I’m happy to talk about what you have in mind. Maybe you’d like to be cut out from your background and sat upon a tiny mushroom, but you’d rather pay a human than destroy the environment by using AI? Hit me up! Larger groups always require more editing, because I will combine each person’s best take into one image, resulting in a seamlessly blended shot where no one is blinking and everyone looks their best. In some cases I can even add someone who wasn’t there, as in one of the examples below.
