My small daily habit? My 7am tea by the window. No phone. Just me, the steam from my mug, and three things I'm grateful for. Some days it's my breath. Some days it's the sun. Some days it's just that I am still here.

It takes 5 minutes, but it brings me balance for the whole day. It reminds me that joy didn't leave — it just got quieter, and I had to learn to listen again.

Rebuilding After Loss 💛

I thought grief would end when treatment did.

But after I rang the bell, I lost so much more than I expected — my hair, my energy, my job, and my best friend who didn't make it. For a long time, I didn't know who I was without cancer.

Healing didn't come all at once. It came in small moments. Journaling by the window. Talking to another survivor who just got it. Learning that grief isn't weakness — it's love with nowhere to go.

Today, I am rebuilding. Not back to who I was before, but forward into who I am becoming. My purpose is different now, softer, more intentional. And that's okay.
