Friendly competition. Great teammates. Even better memories. 🏓

Last Friday, the Sopher Sparn team traded drawings for paddles at our first-ever Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle.

There were plenty of competitive rallies, a few surprise upsets, lots of laughs, and some well-earned medals. More importantly, it was a chance to step away from the office, spend time together, and celebrate the people who make our team what it is.

Congratulations to our tournament champions, and thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first pickleball tournament such a fun success.

Architecture is experienced in the details.

The materials chosen for a building do more than define its appearance. They create texture, warmth, durability, and a lasting sense of place. At S'PARK West, natural wood, brick, metal, and carefully crafted detailing come together to give this permanently affordable housing community a character that feels both contemporary and welcoming.

Thoughtful material choices help buildings age gracefully, reduce maintenance, and create homes that residents can take pride in for years to come. Great design is not only about the overall form. It is found in the details that bring a project to life.

Every great home begins with a thoughtful arrival.

An entryway is more than just a front door. It creates the first impression and marks the transition from the outside world into the spaces where life unfolds.

Whether defined by warm natural materials, soaring ceilings, expansive glazing, or carefully framed views, each entry is designed to create a sense of welcome while reflecting the character of the home beyond.

Swipe through a few of our favorite entryways and let us know. Which one would you love to come home to?

The kitchen has always been the heart of the home.

Today's kitchen island is where that heart comes to life. It's where mornings begin, meals are prepared, conversations unfold, and family and friends naturally gather.

Every island is thoughtfully designed around the way its owners live. From sleek contemporary forms to warm mountain-inspired spaces, each reflects the unique character of the home while balancing functionality, craftsmanship, and connection.

Modern living with a front-row seat to the Flatirons.

Located at the corner of Folsom and Spruce, Flatiron Vista transforms an urban infill site into a boutique collection of six contemporary residences designed to embrace Boulder living.

Metal siding, brick, and cedar create a warm, modern material palette, while ground-level entries, upper-level balconies, and generous windows strengthen the connection between the homes, the street, and the surrounding neighborhood. Every residence is thoughtfully positioned to capture unobstructed views of the Flatirons and bring natural light deep into the living spaces.

Flatiron Vista demonstrates how thoughtful infill development can enhance the urban fabric while creating distinctive homes that are connected to their community.

Some homes deserve to be preserved, not replaced.

This renovation in Boulder’s Mapleton Hill Historic District reimagines a landmark residence for modern living while honoring the details that make it unique. From a carefully integrated addition to updated living spaces and improved accessibility, every design decision was made to support the next generation of life in this historic home.

Thoughtful design isn't about changing history. It's about building on it.

A lot can change in just a few months.

Since our March site visit, Lake Shore has progressed from exposed framing to finished interior spaces, exterior cladding, and architectural details that are bringing the design to life.

Overlooking Baseline Reservoir, the home is designed to frame sweeping views of the Flatirons while creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. With each phase of construction, that vision becomes more tangible.

We're looking forward to sharing more as the project continues toward completion in 2026.
