Most brokerage leaders at our 2nd Connected Brokerage Mastermind rated their data control a 3 out of 10. One summed it up: “We have plenty of data, but we are struggling with how to put it into use.”

When the talk turned to what to build, the room leaned toward tools that help the brokerage run better. Client-facing ideas barely came up, and that’s the part we keep thinking about.

Terry Carter, Broker with eXp Realty built 3 or 4 agents before most of us finished our morning coffee. 🤖
One handles .
Another writes repair proposals.

He’s working through the list in one by one, automating the parts of his business that used to eat up hours.

When eXp opened up CRM options through the CRM of Choice program, Terry moved from (now ) to . Part of the reason?

Cloze built out an MCP server long before others & his experience was that Cloze was the most flexible with AI.

But for Terry, the tech was only half of it...

“It’s good to have a point of contact. So far we have not had that with any of the CRMs. It’s good to see a face, have a name, have a person to reach out to who can get us pointed in the right direction.”

It's been a busy few weeks with our team traveling to conferences in every Continental US timezone. We took a breath this week, but Jose Perez and Kevin McGuire are back on the road next week attending the Edge: The Tech and Data Forum, hosted by the great folks at Real Estate News and T3 Sixty .

“Why haven’t I heard of Cloze?”

That’s what Steve Croner asked us. Steve is an eXp Realty Canada agent, a referral realtor, and a podcast host. In the last six months he’s talked with about 500 realtors.

He runs two other businesses too, and all of it lived in GoHighLevel. That cost him $100 US a month.
Then he took a closer look at what came with his eXp Realty membership.

“I started to realize, oh wow, maybe Cloze could do it. And it could! And I’m getting it with eXp, so why am I paying 100 bucks US for GHL?”

So he uploaded almost 30,000 eXp agents into Cloze. Every one of them is a possible guest for his podcast. That’s a big upload. He said it was simple because the steps were clear.

Then he found the AI automations, and they were included too.
“So he was like, ‘Oh.’”

Here’s what makes it click for Steve. Every guest is a relationship. He doesn’t want to stop at one video. He wants to keep showing up for those people.

And he knows how follow-up works. The fifth email. The sixth. The seventh. Eventually, they call.

Add BombBomb video, and Cloze can bring back the parts of a conversation that matter. Someone mentioned their kids. Someone said “get back to me in two weeks.” When you reach out, you remember, and they can tell.

Last week, co-founder and CEO Dan Foody had the chance to sit down on a panel with Tim Quirk of Purlin Co. , moderated by Matt Leone of , to talk about how to harness AI for productivity, analytics, marketing and customer acquisition.

It was both fun (as you can see from the picture!) and an honor to participate, particularly given the rapid evolution of how brokerages are using AI. The conversation we had last week will likely be vastly different if we held the same panel 6 months from now.
