🌐IP stands for Internet Protocol. An IP address is like a mailing address for a device that is online. When your phone, smart TV, or gaming system connects to the internet, it uses an IP address, so websites know where to send information back. For example, when you open a website, its information is delivered to your device using its IP address, much like a package is delivered to your home using your street address.
Public vs Private IP Address

Search: What is my IP address?
🔐Private IP address: An address your router gives to each device inside your home or workplace, such as your phone or smart TV. To find out what this address is:
Open Settings.
Select Wi-Fi.
Tap the information symbol next to your connected network or tap the WiFi network itself.
Look for IP Address or Network details
