How can climate adaptation support Indigenous rights, knowledge, and self-determination?

In “Reclaiming Indigenous Rights: Decolonial Pathways to Climate Adaptation”, Ranjan Datta, Jebunnessa Chapola, and Khokon Suiten Murmu draw on the experiences of six Indigenous communities in Bangladesh to rethink climate adaptation. They show why effective, just responses must address land dispossession and structural inequality while supporting community-led, culturally grounded approaches.
