Doug Sovonick is stepping down as Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at Deskey to concentrate on his passion for creating personal works of art. We are pleased to announce Lianna McKenzie, an 11-year-company veteran, has been named Deskey’s new Chief Creative Officer. Lianna is the first woman and woman of color to hold this position in Deskey’s 91-year history and is one of just 29% of women who lead creative at agencies in the United States.

After an extraordinary 43-year tenure at Deskey, Doug Studer is retiring from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Doug has chosen long-time business partner Becky Hyde-Nordloh as his successor and majority shareholder of the privately owned agency. Becky is the first woman to lead our agency in its 91 years, placing us proudly among the small minority of women-owned and run creative agencies in the United States.
