I got to play a truly legendary course with one of my children. Designed by Bobby Jones The Golden Horseshoe in Virginia is crafted after and to be equivalent of Augusta in Georgia. It absolutely lived up to the name the lineage and the challenge. We ended up looping it twice playing 36 holes. One of the holes is an island Par 3 to which I have included a picture. Missed it twice on the first round skating through the green. But was able to nail it directly in the middle on the 2nd.. I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience this. Anyone coming to the Virginia area should take the opportunity to experience this course for it themselves. It was epic difficult and immaculate.
