You’re not logging in, but your phone keeps asking you to approve a sign-in. That prompt may mean someone already has your password and is hoping you’ll tap “Approve” just to make the notifications stop.

This is called MFA fatigue. An attacker sends request after request, sometimes in the middle of the night, and waits for one tired or distracted tap.

If you get a login prompt you didn’t trigger, deny it and tell your IT team right away.

At XPERTECHS, we routinely update our cybersecurity best practices as cyber threats evolve. One of our recommendations is for every client to have MDR.

The threats have changed. Criminals use AI to write convincing phishing, clone voices, and probe for weaknesses faster than before and they don't wait for business hours to do it.

MDR catches and contains an intrusion moments after it happens, not the next morning. Detection and response that only runs nine to five can't do that and that’s the gap MDR fills.

We might be watching our SmileBack counter a little more closely as we get closer to 50,000, but our team isn’t doing anything different. They’re doing what they do every day, troubleshooting issues and helping people get the most out of their technology.

SmileBack is how our clients rate every interaction with XPERTECHS support. This morning, the counter read 49,256. That leaves 744 to go.
