Ever wondered why some meats taste so much better? 🤔

The secret is in the fat! Drop a comment if you've noticed this too!

When it comes to beef, the fat is where the flavor really shines. Grass-finished beef has an earthier taste, reminiscent of wild game. It's leaner and not as tender, but that unique flavor makes it worth it.

So next time you're choosing your cut, remember: it's all about the fat! What’s your favorite type of beef? Let’s chat in the comments!

🐴 WHO BELONGS ON RIDEJOY? Spoiler alert: Probably more of you than you think! 🤠💖

One of the things we’re realizing as RideJoy continues to grow is that so many people don’t realize just how many different types of businesses, services, and experiences belong on our platform!

🏡 HORSE HOTELS & OVERNIGHT STAYS
This one’s probably the most obvious! If you offer overnight accommodations for horses, whether that’s a stall, pasture, paddock, corral, equestrian campground, or an entire horse-friendly property, we want you!

🐎 HORSEBACK RIDING EXPERIENCES
Trail rides, guided adventures, cattle drives, ranch experiences, beach rides, mountain rides, and everything in between!

And you can provide the horses OR welcome guests who bring their own (BYOH)! Both belong on RideJoy!

🤠 CLINICS, LESSONS & EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
Horsemanship clinics, groundwork, riding lessons, training workshops, cattle working, roping, equine wellness, and other educational opportunities!

Whether your participants are mounted or unmounted, beginners or seasoned horse people, there’s a place for you here.

🎉 EVENTS & UNIQUE EXPERIENCES
Equestrian events, ranch tours, demonstrations, farm experiences, cowboy experiences, meet-and-greets, and opportunities that give people a chance to connect with horses, ranching, and the Western way of life!

And a shoutout to Dan at Diamond W Saddle Cattle! Because sometimes an experience doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional category, and that’s EXACTLY why we’re building a platform that makes room for it!

If you’re open to the public and offer something involving horses, horseback riding, ranching, or the equestrian lifestyle, there’s a very good chance you belong on RideJoy!

Our mission is to help people find places to go, things to do, experiences to enjoy, and incredible people to meet along the way.

Because the horse world is so much bigger than any one discipline, destination, or type of business.

So if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines wondering whether your business belongs on RideJoy, consider this your invitation!

⚠️ VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED: PART ONE ⚠️

Some of the footage in this series may contain graphic imagery of meat processing that some viewers may find disturbing.

From cattle on the open range to the meat that fills our freezers and feeds our families. 🥩🐂

During our recent trip to Sheridan, Wyoming, we had the incredible opportunity to tour Western Heritage Meat Company and see firsthand exactly what it takes to bring beef from pasture to plate.

And when I say firsthand, I mean FIRSTHAND.

Aside from seeing a deer processed here and there when I was younger, this was my very first experience witnessing this process. And let me tell you, nothing quite prepared me for the scale, the precision, the hard work, and the sheer amount of knowledge involved.

It was eye-opening, humbling, and honestly, something I believe more people should have the opportunity to experience.

We’ve become so accustomed to walking into a grocery store, picking up a neatly packaged cut of meat, and going about our day without giving much thought to everything that happened before it reached that shelf.

But behind every package is a story. A rancher. An animal. A processor. Countless hours of labor. And people who take tremendous pride in what they do.

I feel genuinely honored that the team at Western Heritage welcomed us into their world and allowed us to document a process that so many of us depend on, yet so few ever witness.

My hope in sharing this series isn’t to shock anyone. It’s to educate, reconnect, and encourage a deeper appreciation for the animals, the people, and the work that puts food on our tables.

Whether you eat meat or not, I believe there’s tremendous value in understanding where our food comes from.

Thank you to the Western Heritage Meat Company team for opening your doors, sharing your knowledge, and allowing us to tell a small part of your story. ❤️

💖🐎 FROM PASTURE TO PLATE: A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES. 🥩🇺🇸

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing a series of videos from our visit to Western Heritage Meat Company with Truly \ Beef, LLC in Sheridan, Wyoming.

I want to start by saying that some of the footage we’ll be sharing may be difficult for some people to watch. But I also believe these are incredibly important conversations to have.

Somewhere along the way, many of us have become disconnected from where our food comes from.

We walk into a grocery store, pick up a beautifully packaged cut of meat, put it in our cart, and go about our day. And it’s so easy to forget the tremendous amount of work, dedication, sacrifice, and responsibility that went into getting that food onto our plates.

The ranchers who raise the animals. The families who dedicate their lives to caring for them. The people who process our food. The generations of knowledge, hard work, and traditions behind it all.

There is an entire story behind every meal, and it’s one I believe we should understand, appreciate, and teach our children.

In this clip, Cathryn from Western Heritage Meat Company shares a message that I hope resonates with every single person watching:

🇺🇸 SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RANCHERS. SUPPORT AMERICAN AGRICULTURE. KNOW WHERE YOUR FOOD COMES FROM.

These aren’t just catchy phrases. They’re about protecting livelihoods, strengthening our communities, supporting American families, and recognizing the value of the people who work tirelessly to feed us.

You don’t have to be a rancher, a farmer, or even live in a rural community to care about these things.

And you don’t have to be comfortable with every part of the process to recognize the importance of understanding it.

My hope in sharing these videos isn’t to shock anyone. It’s to educate, to reconnect, and perhaps inspire a little more gratitude for the food on our tables and the hands that helped put it there.

Because convenience should never come at the expense of appreciation. 💖

A huge thank you to Cathryn and the entire Western Heritage Meat Company family for opening their doors, sharing their knowledge, and allowing us to experience a side of agriculture that so many Americans never get to see.

We hope you’ll follow along, keep an open mind, and join us in celebrating the hardworking people who feed America. 🇺🇸🐎

💖 Some people just remind you that there is SO MUCH GOOD in this world. 💖

We had another meeting with our RideJoy development team today, and once again, I walked away feeling absolutely blown away by the people who have become part of this little community we’re building. 🥹

And make no mistake, our development team is VERY MUCH part of the RideJoy community.

They show up. They shine. They problem-solve. They encourage. They extend grace. And time and time again, they go above and beyond to help us turn this big, sometimes seemingly impossible dream into something real.

As I mentioned in my video earlier, the long story made short is that we transitioned to this team after working with another development team.

And here’s something you should know about me…

I can be a little ornery. 🤣

Okay, maybe a LOT ornery sometimes.

I’m also not someone who extends trust particularly easily. Life has taught me to be cautious, and sometimes I find myself constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Waiting for the disappointment. Waiting for the moment when someone shows me that maybe I shouldn’t have trusted them after all.

And that’s not necessarily a quality I’m proud of, but it’s one I’m aware of.

But every once in a while, people come into your life who remind you that maybe, just maybe, you don’t always have to brace yourself for the worst.

Sometimes you can loosen your grip a little.

Sometimes you can let your guard down.

Sometimes you can trust that people really DO mean what they say, and that they’ll show up the way they promise.

And sometimes, putting yourself out there is worth every ounce of vulnerability it requires. 💖

That’s what this team has continued to show me.

And what makes it even more special is that while they aren’t technically RideJoy, they have embraced the very values that mean the most to us.

Lead with a spirit of generosity. Care relentlessly. Show up for people.

Not just when it’s convenient. Not just when it’s easy. But because that’s simply who you are.

And from the very first day I met them, that’s exactly who they’ve been.

Now, I ALSO want to take a moment to celebrate something pretty darn special…

🎉 Our development team just celebrated their 11TH ANNIVERSARY IN BUSINESS!!! 🎉

ELEVEN YEARS of building, growing, learning, overcoming obstacles, and making dreams come to life for people like me.

And I just think that deserves a little celebration of its own. 🙌

Because as much as these wonderful people have rooted for me and for RideJoy, I hope they know that I am rooting just as loudly for THEM.

For their continued growth. For their success. For their dreams. For their families. And for all the beautiful things that life has in store for them.

I wish them nothing but wellness, love, peace, light, JOY, and an abundance of success in every possible way. 💖

Building a business is hard. Building something meaningful is even harder.

But finding people who make the journey a little lighter, a little brighter, and a whole lot less lonely?

That’s the kind of success you can’t measure on a balance sheet.

And today, I’m just feeling really, really grateful.

Here’s to 11 incredible years, and hopefully MANY, MANY more. 🥂💖

And here’s to the people who remind us that sometimes the other shoe doesn’t have to drop. Sometimes people really are just that good. 💖 Duple IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

💖🐴 THIS is one of those moments when our community has the opportunity to come together and do something not just good… but GREAT.

I’m sharing this because nearly two weeks ago, someone lost her partner, her best friend, and a piece of her heart.

And if there’s one thing I know about the horse community, it’s that we understand something the rest of the world doesn’t always quite grasp.

They’re not just horses. They’re family. They’re our safe places. Our confidants. Our partners. And sometimes, they’re the ones who have carried us through the hardest chapters of our lives. 💖

I can’t even begin to imagine what these past two weeks have been like for her.

Searching tirelessly, day after day. Holding on to hope while battling exhaustion, fear, and the unimaginable heartache of not knowing where her best friend is.

And then there’s the OTHER side of having your story shared with thousands of strangers on the internet.

The endless comments to sift through. The genuinely helpful advice buried beneath hundreds of well-meaning but unhelpful suggestions. The constant notifications. The “I told you so’s.” And, of course, the keyboard warriors who somehow always find the energy to criticize someone who’s already living through a nightmare.

All while she’s just trying to FIND. HER. HORSE.

Friends, this is where I believe we can be different.

We don’t need to offer another opinion. We don’t need to tell her what she should have done differently. We don’t need to add to the noise.

We have an opportunity to actually HELP.

And that’s why I’m asking our RideJoy community to come together.

If you’re in a position to donate toward the ongoing search efforts, even a few dollars could help.

But if donating isn’t possible, please, please SHARE THIS POST. 💖

Share it to your personal page. Share it with your horse friends. Share it with your local equestrian groups.

Because somewhere, someone may have the information, the resources, or the connections that could make all the difference.

I believe wholeheartedly that a community is only as strong as the way we show up for one another when it matters most.

And right now, we have a chance to turn thousands of comments into thousands of helping hands.

Let’s help bring this horse home. 🐴💖

👇 Please donate if you can, share if you can’t, and help us spread this far and wide.

My horse Cheyenne was lost during a trail ride in the Mt. Adams Wilderness of Washington on Oct 7, 2026. We searched the area extensively on horseback, but winter weather moved in on Oct 25th before we could locate her.

Support could help fund potential helicopter or other aerial flights, poster and direct-mail campaigns, and hopefully the recovery effort itself. If Cheyenne is found, donations may also help with future veterinary bills.

I’m just getting this fundraiser started, and I’m grateful for every person who helps get the word out. Please visit the GoFundMe page to donate or share. I’ll continue posting updates here on FB as well.
