"On October 29, 1969, the first message was sent over ARPANET (the precursor to the internet). The connection stretched about 350 miles between a lab at UCLA and the Stanford Research Institute (SRI).

The plan was for the UCLA student, Charley Kline, to type the word "LOGIN."

He typed "L"—Stanford confirmed they received it.

He typed "O"—Stanford confirmed.

He typed "G"... and the system crashed.

So, the very first long-distance computer communication in history was simply "LO." They got the full system back up and running about an hour later, but that first "Lo" became the "Hello World" of the networking age. This is where the term LO Jack came
From So if you were born before 1969 you living before the first internet transmission! Otherwise you are NOT born before the internet but maybe you were born before the World Wide Web!!!! 1989: The Conception

This is when Sir Tim Berners-Lee had the idea for the world wide web but it went public August 6, 1991 and now we have the world today our modern times where networks and communication is possible anywhere on earth!"

Post-Patch Tuesday True story:
Turned on my desktop this morning, launched Solitaire to get my Microsoft Rewards Points for playing a PC Game for 15 minutes, and went downstairs to feed the cat and make coffee.

When I came back to a login screen, I was confused or maybe it was just the Taco Tuesday Hangover, but I could have sworn I'd logged in and launched Solitaire/fairly certain the Xbox app already told me I got my points...

Start/Run/Eventvwr/Windows Logs/System and scroll down hundreds of timestamps to confirm what I could have just hit Windows Key+i for Settings and Windows Update/Update History showed me it surely was just an Update and automatic Restart Windows.
