In addition, Ideum has worked with Fortune 500 companies and iconic brands such as: Apple, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Boeing, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Union Pacific, and others. Our work has spanned the realms of informal and formal education, entertainment and gaming. In over one hundred interactive projects, we’ve explored topics in art, culture, history, science and technology. Our 30+ employees have expertise in the areas of software and hardware design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), user experience, programming, computer vision, gaming, usability testing, video and photography production, writing and research, museum planning and other diverse skills.

Sometimes a day in the office really is all fun and games 🎮 This past weekend, Ideum partnered with Game Gauntlet Jam, a competition organized by New Mexico game company Cosmic Forces! Although we create all kinds of software interactives, our development team has always loved making games, and this partnership gave us an exciting opportunity to help uplift indie developers across New Mexico.

Yesterday, two of Ideum's leading ladies got to hangout at TechTrek! 🌟 Hosted by the AAUW New Mexico chapter at New Mexico Tech, this camp gives girls hands-on problem-solving classes and field trips packed with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), all taught and led by incredible women role models.

Campers get to build and program robots, extract their own DNA, explore how computer simulations predict weather patterns, and so much more! The program has been shown to boost self-confidence and spark real excitement about STEAM careers.

Our team had a blast participating in the Engineering Expo. We were able to share not only our hardware & software with the campers, but also what we do at Ideum and how many of our own journeys also come from the STEAM field. Moments like these are why we do what we do. sparkles

The Reader Rail just got a major upgrade! Last month, we explored how our ultrawide 5K Reader Rail touch screen kiosks have evolved since their debut almost a decade ago. What started as custom Presenter touch displays has grown into full-featured, all-in-one touch screen kiosks that have become staple interactive museum displays in institutions across the country. Earlier this year, we released TouchStory—the no-code software builder exclusively for the Reader Rail Kiosk—and last month, we announced an updated laminate and aluminum design. Today, we're excited to announce two new add-ons that bring even more accessibility and flexibility to this versatile touch screen kiosk.
