Health Wildcatters

Health Wildcatters Health Wildcatters is a mentor-driven healthcare seed accelerator, innovation hub, and co-working spa

Health Wildcatters’ focus is early stage healthcare startups that come from a variety of niches. Healthcare IT, digital health, mobile health companies, medical device, diagnostic and pharma companies have found their way into our portfolio. Health Wildcatters provides an initial seed investment and mentorship for startups in the early stages of funding and development. The healthcare niche brings

up a few more twists, but that makes it more interesting. The specific challenges of selling into the healthcare market, dealing with regulatory constraints and the slower pace of adoption are why we are here. Health Wildcatters expanded into a larger role, which focuses on healthcare innovation beyond their accelerator program, when they officially opened up their new space at 1910 Pacific. The space features an event and presentation area, a co-working space, as well as private offices. HW has expanded their reach to provide a resource center for various healthcare organizations and thought leaders.

Last week, Health Wildcatters was honored to be part of another incredible PULSE Networking event, where our CEO, Hubert Zajicek, MD, MBA, had the opportunity to interview Mark Cuban in a powerful conversation on the future of healthcare.

Last Wednesday’s event brought together Dallas’ most influential healthcare leaders — from C-suite executives and founders to entrepreneurs and innovators — for an evening defined by meaningful connections, bold conversations, and a shared commitment to advancing healthcare innovation.

One of the evening’s most impactful moments was hearing Mark Cuban share his perspective on the urgent need for greater transparency and affordability in healthcare. His insights underscored the systemic barriers that continue to drive unnecessary complexity and cost, while his leadership through Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Wellness demonstrates how innovative models can create more accessible, consumer-focused solutions.

Thank you PULSE Networking and Frontera Search Partners team!

The momentum behind Dallas’ healthcare innovation ecosystem continues to accelerate, and we’re proud to be part of its growth as we all together help shape what’s next in healthcare innovation.
