🐺 Introducing Pack Alert: our newest way to share timely threat research.

Arctic Wolf Labs researchers investigate emerging threats every day. Some findings need to reach defenders fast, before a lengthy publication cycle can catch up. Pack Alert shares those findings, explaining what our researchers observed, why it matters, and what defenders should watch for next, with more detail on our GitHub repository.

Today’s Pack Alert: Malicious GitHub Repositories Fingerprint Devices to Deliver Tailored Malware

Arctic Wolf Labs researchers recently observed malicious GitHub repositories that use redirects to fingerprint a visitor's device before delivering a payload built for that platform.

Windows visitors receive a ZIP file containing the BoryptGrab infostealer. Android visitors receive a malicious application package (APK) linked to a newly identified command-and-control (C2) panel.

Attackers are moving at machine speed. This year at Black Hat, we showed the industry what it takes to defend at that same speed, without losing the human judgment that makes security decisions trustworthy. Super Instinct meets Super AI.

Here’s what Arctic Wolf brought to Las Vegas:

🔹 Live looks at the Aurora Agentic SOC — hundreds of specialized AI agents working in parallel, with human experts validating every high-stakes call
🔹 Our new Cyber Resilience offering — MDR, exposure management, endpoint protection, and incident response, backed by up to $3M in warranty protection
🔹 The Cyber AI Readiness Accelerator — a new way for partners to deliver exposure management and resilience outcomes alongside Aurora Attack Surface Management
🔹 A CRN Tech Innovators win for Aurora Endpoint Security, validating our approach to AI-driven security
🔹 Fresh threat research from Arctic Wolf Labs, including a technical session on the LightSpy surveillance operation

Our booth stayed busy with hands-on demos of the Aurora Superintelligence Platform in action and in-booth sessions, and the conversations sparked by those were some of the best part of the week. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and talked shop with our team. This industry only gets stronger when we learn from each other.

Double win. Full sweep. 🏆

Arctic Wolf topped CRN’s 2026 Annual Report Card in both Managed Detection and Response and Security Operations Platforms/SIEM — earning a clean sweep of every subcategory (Product Innovation, Support, Partnership, and Managed & Cloud Services) in each.

This is partner-driven recognition, and we’re grateful to every solution provider who voted with their experience.

Live from Las Vegas at Black Hat USA 2026: a cocktail chat with Daniel Schiappa, President of Technology & Services at Arctic Wolf. 🐺

Ilina Cashiola, SVP of Corporate Marketing, sat down with Dan to talk about the work behind the Aurora Agentic SOC’s momentum this week, and why Arctic Wolf believes the future SOC isn’t human-led or AI-only, but a new model, combining autonomous AI agents with expert human oversight.

🔹 Arctic Wolf rebuilt the SOC around a swarm of AI experts, not just automation, running in production at massive scale as the largest commercial agentic SOC in the world.
🔹 Trust comes from training on real experience at scale: millions of hours of security operations data and deep human expertise behind every model, paired with AI judges and human review, to keep outcomes accurate and deterministic.
🔹 With 150+ AI security startups on the show floor, Dan makes the case for looking past flashy demos and asking what actually matters: durability, scalability, accuracy, and whether a solution can hold up at machine speed without failing open or closed.

The best sessions on the floor are happening at Booth #1564. 🐺

All week, our leaders and researchers have taken the mic to tackle the question every security team is working through right now: how do you defend at machine speed without handing over judgment to a machine? We’ve also been granting attendees the opportunity to win a pair of custom hand-painted Adidas sneakers — swipe to see the fresh kicks.

A few of the conversations that we’ve brought to life:

🔹 Christopher Fielder on where AI security frameworks help and where they add more complexity than they solve
🔹 SVP of AI Laura Grace Ellis on human judgment at machine speed in the SOC
🔹 Senior Threat Intelligence Researchers Alyssa Newbury and Jens Pose on applying AI to emerging threat analysis and threat actor research
🔹 VP of Sales Engineering Issara Srun and Senior Technical Marketing Manager Peter Ingebrigtsen on mapping the attack surface with mind and machine
🔹 Senior Incident Response Forensics Analyst Eric Draeger on what AI-enabled ransomware actually looks like in 2026

AI provides the speed. Human instinct provides the judgment. The future belongs to both.

Best booth (and booth staff) on the show floor, and it’s not close. 🐺

Booth #1564 has been the place to be all week in Las Vegas. Our team has been running live Aurora Agentic SOC demos, hosting back-to-back sessions from Arctic Wolf leaders and researchers, and giving out swag (plus a hand-painted pair of Adidas sneakers to one very lucky raffle winner).

A few highlights from the week:

🔹 Field CTO Christopher Fielder breaking down where AI security frameworks help and where they add more complexity than they solve
🔹 SVP of AI Laura Grace Ellis on human judgment at machine speed in the SOC
🔹 Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher Alyssa Newbury and Threat Intelligence Researcher Jens Pose on Applying AI to emerging threat analysis and threat actor research
🔹 VP of Sales Engineering Issara Srun and Senior Technical Marketing Manager Peter Ingebrigtsen mapping the attack surface with mind and machine
🔹 Senior Incident Response Forensics Analyst Eric Draeger on what AI-enabled ransomware actually looks like in 2026

Did you catch Arctic Wolf’s in-booth session this morning at with Arctic Wolf Field CTO Christopher Fielder? 🐺

Christopher led an in-booth session at Arctic Wolf booth #1564 on one of the trickiest problems in AI security right now: good intentions creating larger problems. There are more AI cybersecurity frameworks available to organizations than ever before, and as organizations rush to adopt AI, they can struggle to choose what guidance to follow for the most successful AI integration.

The takeaway is the same one guiding everything Arctic Wolf is building this week: AI security has to reduce noise, not add to it, and it has to earn trust through outcomes, not just adoption.

Catch Christopher and the rest of the team in-booth through the end of the week, and see how Arctic Wolf is pairing AI-powered security operations with human expertise to deliver better security outcomes at the speed and scale defenders need.

Live from Las Vegas at Black Hat USA 2026: a cocktail chat with Nick Schneider, President & CEO of Arctic Wolf. 🐺

Ilina Cashiola, SVP of Corporate Marketing, sat down with Nick to unpack the three announcements Arctic Wolf made this week, each one built the idea that security has to move at machine speed without losing human judgment.

🔹 Aurora Agentic SOC hits new scale, resolving over three million security cases and running more than 200,000 investigations weekly, with a new AI Trust Engine and a new metric, Mean Time to Trusted Action, to measure how fast customers get guidance they can actually act on.

🔹 The new Cyber Resilience offering brings together security operations, exposure management, endpoint protection, and incident response, backed by up to $3 million in warranty coverage, so organizations can reduce risk and recover faster when an incident happens.

🔹 The Cyber AI Readiness Accelerator gives partners a new way to pair Aurora Attack Surface Management with their own services, helping organizations close visibility gaps and build a roadmap to stronger resilience.
