RMC recently asked us to reinvigorate the website we originally designed, starting with an overall plan to make the web pages driven more by elegant graphics and custom icons that suit their elevated branding.

You can see the updated direction in action on the completely revamped Our Story page, which now highlights a more personable yet polished look and engaging interactive elements. We reordered the sections with a brand new timeline placed under the intro, a more concise and impactful Team section and graphic-forward awards list.

The brand new timeline tells the ever-evolving story of RMC with a scrolling landscape that represents their nationwide service area and a sleek interactive timeline, featuring custom icons, with the opening date for every location.

The updated Team section now has a layout that creates a real connection with RMC's executives, featuring individual profiles that show their personalities and links to their LinkedIn profiles for access to direct communication.

The new FAQs are in an organized, tabbed system for a better user experience vs a long scroll. We facilitated a specific conversational format that not only answers their common questions in detail, but also serves as a strategic element for current SEO and AI-based searches.

The Media's blog page was refreshed with active social streams to showcase their amazing work, maintain a regularly visually updated presence online and also add to the ongoing comprehensive SEO, AEO & GEO strategy.

Earning visibility in search results requires a new skillset and method of measuring success than it did two years ago, even six months ago. The infusion of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) into the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) brings us to our new reality of "zero-click search.”

A zero-click search is a search query where the user gets their answer directly at the top of the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) from the AI summary. Therefore, removing the need to click on an external website link.

Even when using traditional search vs various forms of AI, you can't fully avoid Google AI overview providing answers above the rest of the content found on the SERP. So...if you can't rely on website metrics for the full picture, how do you know that SEO, AEO or GEO strategies are working, and what do you do?

Adapt. There are a mix of methods we employ to prove progress and show opportunities when it comes to our SEO, AEO and GEO services to help your content be found “above the fold". For the 26th year, Eagle River Coalition and its awesome volunteers removed litter from local roadways — about 13 tons of litter this year alone! Promoting this event for the past four years has been an honor and we're grateful for the creative license they allow, which has led to engaging designs. This year's theme for the poster, digital ads and print ads was inspired by the fun retro motel-style road signs from bygone road trips. A glimpse at the past that evokes a sense of pride in caring for what we have now. Many thanks to Eagle River Coalition for the opportunity to continue supporting your mission!
