T-minus 63 days until fall which means 63 days until the start of all my favorite shows to watch during that time of year. So obviously in my anticipation I had to turn them into color palettes.

The best projects are the ones that make me a little sad when it’s over.

Over the last couple of months I had the opportunity to work closely with and design their new platform, photograph the store and products, and help bring the experience customers already know and love when they visit in person to an online platform.

Word on the street is that Carve Market is getting a new website...

After nearly 2 months of work, we can officially confirm the rumors are true!

Launching June 22nd, the new Carve Market website will give customers a place to:
1. explore premium cuts and products
2. Browse big green egg grills
3. purchase meat bundles for in-store pickup
4. find recipes, tutorials, and grilling inspiration
5. Follow Carve's expansion across Indiana

And more.

It's been such a fun project to work on, and I can't wait for everyone to see it. The countdown is on!

I knew that moving to Indiana would open up doors to serve a new demographic of local clients, but I didn't expect it completely change how I felt about my work!

Creating for local businesses has given me the chance to meet owners in person, experience their businesses firsthand, and better understand the stories behind what they're building.

I wrote a journal entry about that unexpected reward and why it's become one of my favorite parts of this new chapter since moving back home.

One of the biggest misconceptions about websites is that once they're launched, they're finished.

A lot of business owners see their website as a project. You build it, launch it, move on. In reality, it's much closer to a storefront. You wouldn't leave a storefront unchanged for years and expect it to continue representing your business well.
