Curved Theory is a design agency based out of Frederick, Maryland, that focuses on logos and branding, graphic design, illustrations, and web and digital design. It was founded by Ashley DeCapua, a true guru in many areas from graphic design to interior design. She even wrote, illustrated, and published her own children's book! Curved Th

eory has over 15 years of experience in the design industry and is always trying to push the envelope with our designs to help your project be a success. So, whatever the project, we are here for it! Watching Jeff Corwin at the Weinberg last night felt like stepping back into childhood. Growing up he made the wild feel accessible. Him, along with a few others, made caring about animals and nature feel cool. Somehow decades later, sitting in this theater, I was still inspired, learning and laughing at his stories.

But the moment that really got me was how he closed the show. He talked about the importance of children in nature. How conservation doesn't start with policies, it starts with connection. With curiosity. With letting children fall in love with the natural world before we ask them to protect it. This felt a little like a full circle moment.

I am so deeply proud to serve at the Board President of Wild Sprouts — a place where children explore creeks, hold insects, climb logs, and build real relationships with nature. Last night felt like a quiet affirmation. A reminder that this work truly matters. That the time spent in the mud and the magic isn’t small — it’s foundational. And that the seeds we plant now, in small hands and big hearts, will grow into something far bigger than we can even imagine. And honestly, that's pretty powerful. 🌱💛

I opened my mail last week and had one of those quiet, full-circle moments of seeing an illustration I created staring back at me. There's something really special about seeing art making its way from a sketch to the mailbox. I'm feeling very grateful to have illustrated this holiday card for the Weinberg Center for the Arts this year! 🤗
