What do human vulnerability and resilience carry when hierarchy, control, and ancestral narratives are imposed upon them?

The exhibition Golden Ancestry by Gaurii S Kumaar at spans drawing, painting, embroidery, sculpture, installation, and video art, exploring threads of burden, entanglement, and inherited histories. Kumaar approaches her practice as both social commentary and aesthetic exploration through a multidisciplinary lens.

The exhibition is an encounter with ancestry as a site of fragmentation, transformation, and reconciliation, engaging with the intimate complexities of inherited identities.
