Throwback Thursday: 2005!
Back in 2005, Minneapolis was embracing a whole new way to get around! With the light rail still under construction during the development of Minnehaha Place Condominiums, the builders saw an opportunity to create a community strategically located near the new LRT line and beautiful Minnehaha Falls. Avallo had the pleasure of taking the builder's original logo and developing the brand, marketing materials, brochures, and grand-opening invitations to introduce this exciting new community.

The light rail would change how people traveled around the Twin Cities, connecting neighborhoods, businesses, and destinations in a whole new way. More than 20 years later, light rail has become an important part of Minneapolis transportation, and Minnehaha Place remains a sought-after property!

It's fun looking back at the projects we helped launch and seeing how they've stood the test of time.

Where Love Lives and Compassion Grows

Some partnerships mean a little more. Avallo is incredibly proud to be a longtime website partner and supporter of Crescent Cove, a remarkable Minnesota nonprofit providing respite and hospice care for children with life-threatening conditions and support for their families.

Their annual Everlight Gala, January 30, 2027, is a wonderful opportunity to come together and make a difference.

Clean water deserves a great website, too.

Avallo designed and developed the website for West Metro Water Alliance, an organization helping communities protect our lakes, rivers and streams through education and everyday action.

The website needed to make a lot of important information easy to find, from resources for residents and educators to information about native plants, Adopt-a-Drain, chloride pollution, pet waste and ways people can help protect local water. We created a clean, approachable website that organizes all of those resources while making it easy for visitors to learn, explore and take action.

Sometimes a new website needs a little more than a new website.

When we started working with WMWA on their new site, we realized their existing logo needed an update to work with the new design and better represent the organization today.

So, before we got too far into the website, we refreshed the logo and created a brand direction that could carry through the entire project, from colors and typography to graphics, icons and the website itself.

It wasn't about changing who WMWA is. It was about giving their brand a fresh, consistent look that would work better online and give us a strong foundation for the new website.

10 locations. Hundreds of photos. One completely new website!
We’re excited to share the new website Avallo recently launched for American National Bank of MN!

This project went far beyond designing a new website. We wanted the site to feel like the communities and people American National Bank serves.

🦅 We coordinated professional photography shoots at all 10 bank locations, capturing the branches, team members, customers, and local communities.

🦅 We photographed their team so visitors can see the real people behind the bank, not stock photography.

🦅 We created individual pages for all 10 locations, giving each branch its own place to highlight local information, photography, and team members.

🦅 We created and optimized the website content for SEO, including local search, and structured it to help the bank be better understood by today's AI-powered search tools.

🦅 We refined the existing American National Bank logo and carried the refreshed branding throughout the new website.
