Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible students at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary for surpassing their Reading Rodeo goal. Tasked with reading 10,000 books during the second half of the school year, they went above and beyond—finishing with nearly 13,000 books read.

To recognize their achievement, students enjoyed Kona Ice, a cool-down from the Gantt Fire Department, and some fun with the Greenville Triump’s new soccer inflatable. As part of the School Improvement Council, ScanSource helped launch the Reading Rodeo and was proud to celebrate every student’s success with a well-earned snow cone.

Such a fun way to wrap up the school year and we’re already excited about what’s ahead!

We are proud to announce that ScanSource has been named Greenville County Schools’ 2026 Partner of the Year. For more than 30 years, our dedicated volunteers and the ScanSource Charitable Foundation have supported local schools through mentorship, resources, and hands-on engagement.

Through initiatives like Impact 360, we continue to deepen that commitment. Launched in 2024 at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary School, this program provides mentorship, enrichment, and meaningful engagement opportunities, with a focus on meeting the needs of students, educators, and families.

What a powerful way to close out . Last week, we were joined by TD SYNNEX, Logitech, Mill Village Ministries’ Village Wrench, and the Greenville Drive, for our Gear Up and Go event. Volunteers came together to build brand-new bikes for 70 fifth graders at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary, a Title I school in Greenville. Together, we turned a few hours of teamwork into confidence, freedom, and opportunities for students who need them most. We’re grateful to our employees and community partners for showing what’s possible when organizations come together with a shared commitment to making a meaningful, lasting impact.
