One of our proudest moments was being honored in 2005 with a Presidential Citation from the Builders Association for our donation of the park rangers' quarters at Government Canyon State National Area located in northwest Bexar County. Robare Custom Homes is a business that believes in family. Mike’s oldest son Christopher is an Officer in the US Navy , who earned his degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland. Christopher is currently a Naval Aviator flying a P8 Poseidon Aircraft. Mike’s second son Ian is a Business Entrepreneur and is working in Texas and California. Mike’s two daughters, Mikayla and Lyndsie, who are both currently attending College in San Antonio. As a Christian, Mike, his family and entire staff take great pride in their work, giving thanks for all they have accomplished. Mike has found that keeping life's priorities in order, that being: God, family, then business, not only brings greater success, but also, balance and a higher level of satisfaction to himself, his entire team, and most importantly... his clients. Continuing education in the building industry is a must by our standards and is an inherent expectation of our valued clients. Mike has been certified and has achieved the following designations: Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS/ADA), Certified Green Professional (CGP), and in 2008 Mike achieved the most prestigious and highest level of builder certification that the National Association of Home Builders offers and one of a select few in the United States, Graduate Master Builder.
