Important info for those using Sophos for virus protection: On 9/19/2012, Sophos released an update that caused certain files to be falsely detected as Shh/Updater-B. IUP-owned machines on campus have been updated to correct this, but personally-owned PCs should download and re-install Sophos from http://www.iup.edu/itsupportcenter/howto.aspx?id=96252. You'll be prompted for your username and network password when you click on the link to download. Don't forget to enter your username as iupmsd\username!

Sophos Endpoint Security and Control is the virus protection software licensed by the university. It is available to all current faculty, staff, and students for campus or home use.
