On weekends, you’ll find us happily picking through estate sales, browsing through flea markets, and hitting up auctions. During the week, we are designers and software developers. Some things go together like peanut butter and jelly... or, in this case, like sports and pizza. This estate sale has a huge sports memorabilia collection (Mike Ditka posters, Cubs items, trading cards), a Gozney Dome pizza oven, a Briggs & Stratton generator that’s new in the box, an EGO snowblower and a Seth Thomas grandfather clock with a moon-phase dial. There’s also sterling silver, patio furniture and fall and holiday décor.

A former scrapbooking store owner, a laser engraver, and a Hawkeyes fan set up house in Bartlett. The result is this estate sale.

A 1960 Philco Predicta that swivels. Pierre Guariche Trelax chairs. A Blaeu engraving of Copernicus’s triquetrum. This historic Evanston home near the lake mixes mid-century modern, art deco, and classic antiques, and it’s all for sale this weekend. A Chicago clothing store closed 40+ years ago and the owner turned off the lights, and walked away. What she left behind was a time capsule of vintage clothing. Deadstock vintage with original tags: 70s and 80s dresses, Leslie Fay, Herman Geist, Ursula of Switzerland, Lanz of Salzburg, leather trench coats, wool coats, sequins, and gaucho pants.
