Jerry operates our small business that we purchased in September 2024, Hollywood Graphics, recently marking the one-year anniversary and we just closed out our first IOWA tailgate season. Along with the business we acquired the HG apparel stand which included a trailer, loads of Hawkeye apparel, and secured a great set-up location as previous years.
We've had amazing support from the HG staff, customers, family, friends, mentors, and our banker throughout the 1st year of business. However, we had no idea the level of support we needed and received during the 7 home games to operate apparel stand. HG staff designed and printed original apparel weekly, many MANY friends and family volunteered to work 6, 8, 10, 12-hour days, texts and social media posts were shared which brought in foot traffic and new customers to the shop. Even our dogs were cared for while we were gone for those long hours.
A huge highlight was getting the great honor to be selected by Harper Atkinson and family to design and print Harper's Kid Captain shirt for the November 8th game. TEAM HARPER!!
There was one individual that was a rock throughout the summer prep, sorting, tagging, and folding the many boxes of items. She worked every game day as the set-up designer, cashier, and "referee". Thanks MFD!!!!
We are looking forward to the next year and appreciate the support, business, guidance, kindness, and the laughs along the way!!
