We’ll share a proper case study soon!

Creativity shows up in all kinds of ways. Clifton was reminded of that recently while visiting EPIC Universe with his niece. The park itself was full of creative inspiration, but the best part was hearing how she’s finding her own ways to express creativity. He’ll leave the dancing to her, though.

Big or small, signage sets the tone. 🪧

At REACTOR, we specialize in creating fully immersive environments through signage and environmental graphics. (And we mean all of it!)

Monument signs that stop you in your tracks. Wayfinding that feels intentional. Custom details that make a space feel complete from the moment you walk in.

Whether you’re building something from the ground up or transforming an existing space, we handle it all, start to finish.

There are a few areas where we’ve consistently seen the most impact... and honestly, where we have the most fun.

Nonprofits, especially around events. Tourism and destination marketing. And development projects creating spaces where people want to live, eat, and play.

If your work lives in one of these worlds, we’d love to connect. And if it doesn’t, we’re still all ears and can offer years of expertise across industries! 😄

There’s a detail in event planning that doesn’t show up on any run-of-show document and it might be the most important one.

Bekah Wachenfeld of Erin Leonard Events calls it the anchor. Being the calm presence in the room, no matter what’s happening behind the scenes. Issues will occur. High-stakes moments will arise. But the participant experience is always the critical forefront.

It’s a reminder that the best professionals in any field make the hard stuff look effortless and that takes real intention.

What’s the “invisible skill” that defines great work in your industry? 👇

Where you build something matters just as much as what you build.

Kansas City has a long history of supporting the creative community. From to the to the . That culture of backing artists, designers, and agencies is woven into the fabric of this city.

When it was time to launch REACTOR, that community support wasn’t just a nice bonus. It was a real factor. This is a design-oriented town, and we’re proud to be part of that tradition.

One of the biggest missed opportunities in development projects? Waiting too long to bring in a branding team.

When brand identity is established early, it can inform the architecture itself. We’re talking custom details, lobby elements, and finishes that reflect a cohesive vision rather than feeling tacked on at the end.

The brand becomes part of the building. And the building is better for it.

If you’re in the early stages of a development project, that’s exactly when we want to talk.

What separates a good event from an unforgettable one? In January, Clifton attended and caught up with Bekah Wachenfeld of Erin Leonard Events, who puts it perfectly. It’s the intentionality. It’s designing the participant experience end to end, building in moments of connection, and making sure the flow feels fluid, not frantic.

At REACTOR Design, we love collaborating with people who think this way. Because when strategy meets creativity, that’s when something really special happens.

What’s your philosophy on great event experiences? We’d love to hear it. 👇

Sometimes the best projects start with someone asking “where’d you get that shirt?” 🥏🟠

Clifton was repping his apparel business, , at Disc South Expo when Haden of noticed the gear. One conversation later, a rebrand of the Colorado School of Mines Disc Golf team was born.

Their team now has a fully cohesive identity and brand across jerseys, discs, social media, and more.

Root for the Mines Disc Golf team this week at the College National Championship!

After years at large agencies, the gap was obvious — too many people between the creatives and the clients.

So when REACTOR was founded, the whole premise was built around eliminating that. No telephone game. No layers of middlemen. A designer or brand strategist connected directly to the client, invested directly in the outcome.

20 years later, that’s still the philosophy. And honestly, we think it’s why the work is better.

We spend a lot of time planning the big moments at events, so we love the opportunity to attend some ourselves.

In January, Clifton attended and interviewed Patti Guidetti, who is the Senior Director, Operations and Experiences with ACB Ideas, and she points to something most planners overlook... the transitions.

How people move through a space, what happens in the hallways, and the intentionality behind getting from point A to point B.

That’s where the energy of an event is really shaped. And that energy carries into every room, every session, every interaction throughout the day.

The little subtleties aren’t little at all.
