How’s the WiFi at your home or office? Is it stable, easy to use, and reliable? Do you get coverage all over, or are there dead zones? Have you tried to solve your coverage problem by installing repeaters? If you’re like us, you might end up with a complex network of 4-5 local WiFi networks, including repeaters and various frequencies. Some have better signals than others. You have to manually swap networks to get on the one with the best coverage for your couch or desk because the one you were connected to in the kitchen doesn’t have signal there. Your devices are always connected to the wrong network Everybody is constantly losing signal.

- Is your customer service excellent?
- Are you providing your customers with the quality of service or product that they are expecting?
- When was the last time you did a social media audit?
- Are you focusing on quantity over quality?

One of the most valuable things you can do is to keep evolving with your ever-changing field. Virtually every niche is impacted by technology advances, economy changes, politics, trends, and more. You need to make sure you are keeping up with them!

- Network with people in your field. They will give you a goof gauge of what the industry is doing.
- Attend conferences, webinars, and read relevant books.
- Be open to new ideas instead of being resistant to change.

Have you ever heard of pre-employment testing? A pre-employment test is an assessment used to evaluate the personality of a job applicant. These assessments have been statistically validated to give an employer an idea of how good a fit a particular candidate will be for a job. For example, someone who is assessed to be “bold” might be a good sales person. These tests can also measure the long-term employment potential for a particular candidate.

Follow these three beginner engagement steps for BIG results!

1. Initiate conversation...and make it genuine! Ask people questions, give thoughtful answers, converse without trying to sell anything, be kind and intentional. This creates relationships with your followers more organically and will increase your engagement significantly.

2. Value people enough to follow up with them. If they have a question that you need to look into - actually do it! Or if you already responded to them but remember another bit of information, come back the next day and add to it. People feel valued when they know you are intentional enough to give them a thorough response.

3. Be accessible! Make sure you are coming across as warm and inviting so that people actually WANT to engage with you. Being mindful of how quickly you are responding to people can also make or break how easily they feel they can reach you so don't take too long doing so!

These are the baby steps of engagement - there is quite a bit more. But if you are struggling with how to increase your connections with people on social media, this is a great place to start!
