This retrofit was all about transformation without waste. We preserved the client’s existing surround sound system, Sony receiver, and source devices, but reimagined the experience around them.

At the center of it all: a new JVC 4K projector paired with a 135” Stewart Filmscreen in a 2.35:1 CinemaScope format. This isn’t just a bigger screen, it’s a shift in how movies are experienced. Widescreen films now feel exactly as they were intended, while everyday content still scales seamlessly.

Behind the scenes, we upgraded the foundation. New HDMI infrastructure for clean, reliable video. Dedicated power and surge protection for performance and longevity. And a fully integrated Control4 system that brings everything together into one simple, intuitive remote.

We also reinforced the network with a 3-node mesh WiFi system, ensuring the theater (and the entire home) has the speed and stability needed to support everything without interruption.

This is what a thoughtful retrofit looks like. Keeping what works, elevating what matters, and delivering a theater experience that feels entirely new.
