Decadence Colorado Just Dropped The Digital City Lineup 🌆⚡

Here’s what we know:

• Decadence Colorado returns to the Colorado Convention Center in Denver on December 30 & 31 for New Year’s — this year’s theme is The Digital City.
• Lineup (alphabetical): Alesso, Alleycvt, Black Tiger S*x Machine, Crankdat, Daniel Allan, Deathpact, DJ Snake, Excision, GorillaT, Green Velvet, GRiZ, ISOxo, it’s murph, Kasbo, Lane 8, Levity, Marshmello, Seven Lions, Sullivan King, The Resistance, Yousuke Yukimatsu, Zeds Dead, and Zingara.
• Multiple stages across a dance floor roughly the size of six football fields — full indoor production with lasers, large-scale visuals, and art installations.

XS Is Reopening at Wynn Las Vegas in November 🎰✨

Here’s what we know:

• XS Nightclub reopens Thursday, November 5th after a full renovation, with a four-night run to celebrate.
• RÜFÜS DU SOL opens it with a DJ set. The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, and a Diplo b2b Hugel set close out the weekend.
• Design details are still under wraps. All they’ve said is refreshed interiors and new tech, while “preserving the energy and experience” that made it XS.
• Tickets and VIP table info on Wynn Social.
• More announcements coming in the next few weeks.

The Big Picture:

• XS opened in 2008 and became one of the highest-grossing clubs in the country. Avicii, Tiësto, David Guetta all held residencies there. Nearly two decades of that.
• The lineup is a reunion — every artist on it has real history in that room. Chainsmokers called it “a lot of history between us.” Calvin Harris said it’s always been one of his favorite places to play in Vegas.
• This is also part of a bigger pattern. The Strip is mid-renovation-wave right now, with clubs across the board rebuilding for what Vegas nightlife looks like next.

• Chris Stussy announced on Instagram Monday that he’s changed his name to CHRIS STASSY. Same name, one letter — the “U” is now an “A.”
• No reason given.
• The teaser was a photo of him sitting in front of a billboard: “One letter, same mind, same music, same vibe. Thank ‘U’ for everything, ‘A’ new chapter in my life.”
• IG, Spotify, TikTok, X and YouTube are all already updated.
• His Up The Stuss label and USS parties keep their names.
• First single under the new alias, ‘U know me’ with Marz Fay, drops August 28 — same day he’s back at Creamfields, plus a run of his free N.A.M.E. parties.
• First show as STASSY is this weekend at Pukkelpop. Then Ibiza — Circoloco, Music On, Metamorfosi.

The Big Picture:

• Changing your name 16 years in is a huge move. That’s a decade and a half of search results, festival posters and playlist credits pointing at a spelling that no longer exists.
• Keeping the label and party names is the tell — he’s not walking away from anything, just the spelling. Whatever the reason is, it’s specific to the name itself.

John Summit Is Canceling Festival Dates to Prep for His Arena Tour 🎶

Here’s what we know:

• John Summit has cancelled his scheduled sets at Pukkelpop, Creamfields, Radio 1 Malta, and Touquet festivals — all in late August.
• In a statement he said he needs to rest and prepare for his upcoming CTRL Escape arena tour, which kicks off October 1 at State Farm Center in Champaign, IL. before closing out at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
• Before the tour starts, he’s still set to headline Experts Only Festival at Randall’s Island in NYC on September 19-20.

The Big Picture:

• Canceling festival dates is a big call, but the scale of the arena tour makes it understandable.
• The CTRL Escape tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest runs in dance music this year.
